We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn if your plan includes out-of-network benefits for mental health services. You may qualify for full or partial reimbursement. If so, you will be provided with a monthly statement called a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider.

How do I schedule an appointment?
Contact us if you'd like to schedule an appointment. If you're feeling unsure or still have unanswered questions, you are also welcome to schedule a free ten minute phone consultation.
What are your fees?

What will the first session be like?
We will discuss what brings you to therapy, a bit about your family and personal history, and get to know each other in order to begin building a therapeutic relationship. Sessions last around 55 minutes and we’ll discuss developing a therapy schedule that suits you.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes, your privacy is of utmost importance. The information you share will be kept confidential aside from your giving your therapist written permission and consent to share as needed. There are a few exceptions that we’ll cover in detail during your first session.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Currently, all appointments are conducted virtually for your convenience. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in meeting in person. We may be adding an office space in the near future.
How many sessions can I expect to attend?
Therapy can last anywhere from a few sessions to several months or years. This depends on your wants and needs, the types and intensity of symptoms, and the complexity of the issue(s). You may choose to end therapy at any time and we’re happy to provide you with referrals to other providers as needed.
What assessments are commonly used by Inner Light Therapy?
We often utilize the GAD-7 Anxiety assessment, the PHQ-9- Depression Screening, and the ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences).
Do you see couples or families as well as individuals?
I primarily see individuals ages 12+. If appropriate, we may being in a family member or partner based on the patient’s needs. Couples sessions will be available when I offer in-person sessions in the future.
